Today at oruaiti school some people from otago university came in to do

science with us we did tye dying and we made the coulor indigo im pretty sure

it was really fun the frist step we did was put classes on then cloves if u wanted to do

we frist yous this stuff but i forgot what it was called we hadded it to some water then we put this

powder in it. The powder was like a yellow orange color we then put this white thing in to mix it when we

put it on a stove top. we then took it off and took it to the table we put some more stuff in it then put it back

on the stove. while it was boilling we went and got our white piece of fabric and twisted it into our design we liked

we went back over to our bolling pot of liqud we took it over to this pump magine it sucked all the liqud oout and left

powder we then took it back over to our table and added more water, we then got our fabric and dipped it in the liqud .

Mine and thea one didnt work so we got to get another one and try someone elses dye when i went over to check

frist one we had made it turn indigo. 😛

we have been doing a comic art for the past few days we drawed one then made it on canva it was really fun to do this because we got to play with all the differnt things like comic strips and speach bubbles,if you dont know what mines about its about helena going for a walk the metting a dog and then the dog bites her then she goes to the doctors but the doctor poison her then she dies i know it really rachet but it was really short and i had no ideas.

on wednesday 17 of september was pet day it was so fun pating all the pets.i also got bitten by a guinea pig twice it didnt really hurt but it tickled. we went around all of the classes to see there art work, the night before pet day there were judges to judge our art work in our classes. it goese 1,2,3,4 and higly commeded i think i didnt come anything this year but last year i came 3 and highly comended. we went and watch the dog race Danni came frist wich was really cute because i was hoping she won. after the cow and goat and sheep race we went back to class and then did art for the rest of the day

Last term we made these art works with whaea meg they represent our dance we did for production we did.i did a eal it looks like a worm i know that it looks great. it was really fun to do this because we got to use pastels and i love using pastels we had to do a backround but before that we drawed what one we wanted to do there were stingrays fish and eels i would really like to do this angain but i would hope mine looks betteer next time if we ever do this angain.we also had to draw a desigh at the back but i tried to rub mine out.

This is my duck its name is harry ducker i painted its backround but before that i made my duck i used a exaple that whaea cynthia brang in. it was super cool to do this cause we got to dress our ducks up as you can see mine has a tutu on and pj. he also has shoes on but u cant see them i think it is very cute and think i would want to do this angain

Today we had tuakana tenia it was fun because we got to do skipping. we hid some rocks that we painted on Tuesday. we thought the kids how to skip but most of them already new how to from term 1 when we did skipping with Whaea jorjaw. then we  came back to do bloging  and now I am doing belonging right now its kinda fun just to write about what we have been doing for the past few weeks.

On daffildol day we had a whole school picture. it was really fun cause me and my bsf Amaya matched outfits

it was really cute. but we still had to do work well of course we did it was a school day but it was really fun to do this with my friends and stuff like that x.

last week we made snail art for pet day i made a ice scream snail cause my friend Helena said to. she made a cinnamon roll snail. I didn’t place anything for it but that’s ok at least it was  fun making these with my mates.

we also made these Tapa flowers they were kinday challenging to make cause I got introuble for trying to repaint it because I spilled the paint pen all over it. we have been doing heaps of art lately like name art snail art rock art and even duck art it was really fun making all this art cause no our class is full of art work.

The other day we made these spaghetti marshmallow things we had to build a tower and then mesure how tall it was but as you can see we didnt make a very big one. I had to work with charley because kodin wasnt at school and the teacher did a group sorting thing.  i was really fastrated cause it keep on falling over so we just gave up.
